LOOK A PUPPY! ............................................. .............................................
I thought everyone could use a smile. Look how cute! Oh, puppies are the greatest. I told Dennis once (ok, repeatedly) that if he proposes to me one day, he should put the ring on a puppy's collar because who could say "no" to a face like that!?!
Anyway, I've been meaning to post for a while, but I've been busy with...being lazy. I have nine days left of high school; who could blame me? Everyone can feel the end approaching; the prom is this Saturday (I'm really looking forward to it, which is surprising because such things don't normally interest me), the senior awards dinner, which I was invited to, is June 1st, my last day of school is June 4th, graduation is June 17th, my graduation party is June 19th and I'm already registering for classes for American in the fall. I can't wait for college to start.
But before college comes, there's the summer, which promises to be both exciting and upsetting. I'm going to visit my grandparents in Texas, which I love and have done every year save one since moving from the southwest, I'm going to Florida to meet Dennis' dad, and best of all, I'm going to Israel for free! Birthright Israel (an organization which sends people between the ages of 18 and 26 to Israel for a full cultural experience for free) I leave the day before my 18th birthday, which would be a problem normally, but since my dad knew a guy that works there, we were able to convince the people who plan the trip that I'd technically be 18 when we landed in Israel, so I get to go! The sad part of the summer is that I won't see Dennis for most of it. His parents are divorced and his father lives in Florida, so every year he stays with his dad for six weeks. He's only staying for four this summer, but as soon as he gets back, I'll be leaving for Israel and then I'm moving to Washington, so I won't see him until nearly September. That's why I'm buying myself a round trip to Florida. I don't know whether to be happy or nervous over meeting his father.
On a more current note, I went to the doctor today following a week of intense stomach and chest pain and I have Acid Reflux Disease. Woo hoo! I have to take a little black and pink pill called Prevacid and I can only eat soft and liquid foods for the next two days. Worst of all though, I have to avoid chocolate for a while because it contains caffeine. Damn.
Ok, I said I was lazy and I wasn't lying...I've only been blogging to put off doing what little, actual school work I have left, so I must be going. I promise to blog again sooner than later.
